Rural Riley County Community Foundation Announces Scholarships
We are pleased to announce that the Rural Riley County Community Foundation (RRCCF) 2026 scholarship applications are now open. One of our many objectives is to preserve the spirit of our rural communities by investing in the people who live here. We aim to ensure that Riley, Leonardville and Keats remain vibrant places to live, work and grow.
RRCCF is offering several scholarships totaling $4,000 in local support to help our students and residents achieve their professional goals. RRCCF Scholarship ($1,000) for RCHS seniors pursuing higher education at a college, university or technical school; RRCCF Continuing Education Scholarship ($1,000) for RCHS seniors or community members pursuing higher education, workforce training, or professional certifications; Gary Hanna Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) for RCHS seniors as they pursue higher education at a college, university or technical school; and Economy Electric Trade School Scholarship ($1,000) provided by RCHS alumni Steve Reed and Rodney Dugan for RCHS seniors planning to further their education at a trade or technical school.
All applications must be submitted by April 15. Scholarship recipients will be notified on the date of the Riley County High School Award Ceremony. Applications are available online at: https://www.ruralrileycountycf.org/rrccf-scholarships-application.cfm
